Our Team

Svetlana Sigalaeva – The director, Owner, Author (screenwriter, director, editor).
Svetlana Sigalaeva is a London-based, Russian-born filmmaker whose creative voice was shaped under political censorship. Now living in exile and endorsed by the UK Global Talent Visa, she brings a bold, uncompromising vision to stories that fuse intimate character work with socio-political critique. Her films have screened at over 70 international festivals across 16 countries, including Raindance and Stockholm, earning awards for Best Director, Grand Prix, and Audience Choice.
Svetlana’s short film Dankova — the proof-of-concept for Light Danko — won the Stockholm Film & Television Festival and was selected for Raindance 2025. Her earlier work includes documentaries filmed inside women’s penal colonies, as well as politically subversive retrospectives showcased in sold-out screenings at Riverside Studios in London.
Now supported by Arts Council England and PACT, Svetlana continues to explore emotional truth through visionary allegory. Her cinematic language blends raw realism with mythic depth, challenging systems of repression with tenderness, poetry, and radical honesty.

Anna Viller – Graduate of Moscow’s Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute with honors – Acting (2017).
While studying at drama school, Anna played the main role in a short film ‘Together Apart’ by British Director Mark Nunneley (RSA film company). This work won the Silver Lion at the Cannes Film Festival. She also played several major roles in the Institute: Cecily in “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde, Joanna in the play “Salinger” from the stories of Salinger and Constance in “Amadeus” by Peter Shaffer. She graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute with excellent grades and started working in cinema and theatre. Anna Viller worked with such film companies as Globus Film and the Valery Todorovsky Production Centre. In 2019, Anna played in a project Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy in London. In 2022 she played in performance The Lady with the Dog and The Bear on the stage of Union Theatre (London). Right now, Anna is preparing for a theatrical production and filming for Light Danko, in the role of Eve.
Eve – from Light Danko at first appears to be a typical woman with a child – trying to be a beautiful, good mother, tolerating her unsuccessful husband Adam… But gradually, she is revealed not as a person whom the patriarchal system of the New World allows to argue or open her mouth before a man, but as a queen who is inherently above man and who embodies the truth itself.
James Viller – Adam – James Viller is a British & Irish actor and alumni of Drama Centre London.
His recent film credits include Strike (Sandstorm Films) and Winner of Best Short at Riviera Film Fest – Marions Lilies (Mirage Entertainment). On stage his recent performance in Ordinary Madness (Riverside Studios) drew critical acclaim and he is co-founder of Art Theatre London. His debut film Long Distance is currently in development with Mirage Entertainment. Right now, James is preparing for the theatrical production Light Danko and for filming in Svetlana’s feature film Light Danko, where he will play Eve’s husband.
Eve’s husband is an ideal man of the New World. Adam is the blueprint of obedience. He wears his “nose,” takes his supplements, follows his app’s daily commands, and smiles in every registered photograph. He doesn’t question the world — because he’s never known another. A perfect product of perfection. He believes peace is the absence of desire.
